I made up this DIY chapter a while ago and decided to write about them. CC please!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter Uno(because I know how to count in spanish)

The howl of Ezekiels bolter strangely coincided with the song he hummed. Ezekiel was a sergeant of the Emperors Guns, a space marine chapter whose geneseed was rumored to be partially from the Imperial Fist's primarch, Rogal Dorn, and the Dark Angel's primarch, Lion El'Johnson. The chapters power armor coloring was beige with black greaves, trim and helmets. The black silhouette of a bolter was on both pauldrons. Ezekiel was standing in a field with the rest of his squad, practicing his accuracy on several targets set up across the field, approximately 4 kilometers away. The combination of space marine implants and scopes specially designed by the chapters techmarines meant his squad could see targets miles away, hitting them was a different matter entirely. The squad spent the majority of its time off the battlefield performing accuracy drills whether it be blind firing, firing while running or sniping from a long distance.

Taking a short break from the strenuous sniping drill Ezekiel strode toward a group of children, who were watching the space marine from behind a boulder.

“What have you kids been up to lately?” Ezekiel asked.

“We were spying on you!” piped up the smallest child as he started to giggle.

“Spying on me?” Ezekiel said, feigning surprise.

“Yes! We were spying on you!” agreed the three other children, nodding happily.

“Do your parents know you're out here?” questioned Ezekiel, suddenly growing stern again, “Go home now, its getting late”

Looking up at the sky Ezekiel saw the glow of something entering the atmosphere. Peering at it more closely he realized, to his dismay, it was a mycenic spore. To the west the sky was slowly filling with these glowing yellow blobs. Grabbing up the children who shrieked happily he ran towards the squads landspeeder. When he reached it he put the children inside, ignoring their small voices questioning his actions.

“Mattias, Cain, Shadrach, Nathaniel, Julius, all of you, get back to the speeder” ordered Ezekiel as the orbital defense lasers started to do their job.

The rest of the squad jumped in just as Ezekiel started the engine up. The speeder quickly rose into the air and zoomed forward to the north-west. The barren cliffs around the fortress monastery were soon in sight. Docking the land speeder Ezekiel told the children to go to the safehold in the fortress. The clank of power armored boots was great as the 3rd company assembled in the courtyard of the fortress. The chaplain of the company, Abdiel, a tall man in artificerarmor removed his helmet.

“Brothers, the tyranid's have started invading the planet, we must not let them reach the towns.” Shouted Abdiel.

“Yes!” cheered the assembled mass of space marines.

“Your armor is polished, your bolters are blessed, we shall bring glory to our chapter! To the Emperor!”

Cried Abdiel.

“Long live the Imperium! Long live the Emperor!” shouted the troops below.

Abdiel dissipated from the balcony and reformed near the company's captain. Abdiel was a librarian-chaplain who had toned his skills to expertise. Whispering something into the captains ear, Abdiel nodded to the captains reply. The captain walked into the front of the assembly and silenced the fortress with a rap of his power spear on the courtyard's flagstones. Ezekiel listened intently for his squad's orders, his squad, the 6th tactical squad in the company was last.

“Squad Ezekiel, provide suppressive fire for Squad Har'kan!”

Running to join up with Har'kan's squad he saw the children huddled in a corner.

“Run home as fast as you can.” said Ezekiel, crouching down next to them.

The children cried and fled, running towards the civilian area of the fortress. Sighing Ezekiel ran to catch up with his squad.
