Rune Priest head and Fenrisian Wolves

I've recently modelled a Rune Priest, finished the painting all except for... the head! I don't know which head to give him; Helmetted or bare? Which of each?

And as for the wolves, I bought two of the plastic wolves from GW online, and they're currently in the post. I'm just asking for advice on what to use them as and how to use them. Cheers in advance ;)

for hqs i always like the idea of helmetless while realistically daft rune priest/shamans that they are should be at one with the elements they call on able to feel it on their skin, smell it, feel it, and hear it in ways that the helmet can not (i believe) allow.

as for the wolves since you seem to only have 2 honorary extra wounds to either a lone wolf or a hq on his own.

for heads im rather fond of bald beard and moustache combo, or the wolf guard head with several beard tails and cyborg eye, or any of the ones with hair flowing in the wind. lends much more to the elements taking part in the model.
Because a SW senses are so keen that to wear a helmet it would make thier job alot more harder, as they wouldnt be able to hear as good or to small as good.

Up until they got hit in the head with a bolter round. If that's even true. Autosenses are supposed to be pretty good. And what if they're fighting in a hostile environment, such as space?

I asume they carry their helms with them, but have them off if possable.

Just think of when you ride a bike.. do you want on that itichy helmit, or do you want to FEEL the wind in your hair!?

Which totally gives me a new modaling idea for my Wolves if i buy new figures for whatever reasion.. always have the helm somewhere on the figure.. be it hanging from their belt, perhaps laying on the ground.. maybe have one smashed at the feet of a Space Wolf while his head is bloody from the wound.. Im not a big fan of having the helms on becouse i feel it takes away alot of the emotion in the figures.. but this idea totally doubles the whole thing! Mmm..
