Sgt. Blank
I've been working on converting and updating some *old* models to use again and decided I'd rather have a Daemon Prince than Greater Daemon. Here's the original model, before it got the Simple Green dip: http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/Phothomas82/Chaos/CIMG1432.jpg I'm trying to add some armor and cables etc. to tie it more to power armor. This is the most ambitious thing I've tried with green (grey) stuff, and I could use any advice or suggestions people have. Here's the progress so far: http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/Phothomas82/Chaos/CIMG1473.jpg Front View http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/Phothomas82/Chaos/CIMG1474.jpg 3/4s http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/Phothomas82/Chaos/CIMG1475.jpg Back Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Once the trim is dried, I plan on making it more ornamental and adding some rivets, and hopefully hardening some of the edges a bit as well. Tutteman
I actually looked at the paint stripped picture, saw the line about adding cables to tie more to PA and thought, doesn't really need it. Then I realised it had already been done :( Nice work
Kid Famous The Punch
I have a bog box of wacky old fantasy models I love to go through. Those pads look cool.

Sgt. Blank
woah how did you extend those shoulderpads? :| It's just green stuff. My local game store was out of yellow/blue 2 part putty (green stuff), so I bought what they had, which is black and white and mixes to create gray. It seems to come out about the same as green stuff, maybe a bit harder when cured. I mixed the putty, keeping it wet, and rolled it out pretty thin on wax paper, using the shaft of my x-acto knife as a "rolling pin". I then cut out two vaguely crescent moon shapes and put them on the shoulders as the basis for the pads. After that cured over night, I added the trim by making more putty, rolling it out and cutting it into strips. edit: spelling
Demoulius
oh really? i thought you extended a normal shoulder pad somehow or something  did you add armor to his torso as well? kinda hard to tell. (if you havent why dont you? would add to the "previously marine" touch ;) id say add armor to the torso (skip if you already did) and give him a staff or somesuch and paint him up. should be enough to make him stand out imho ;)
