theonelawler
First does the -1 to initiative from thunder hammers stack? and second how does BS 6 and twin-link work? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192185-quick-rules/ Share on other sites
Spacefrisian
Its not -1 Iniative, Its you strike at Iniative 1 with a Thunderhammer. Bs6 allows you to re-roll hitting on a 6. Twinlinked allows you to re-roll hitting on a 2+. Hope that helps. Rider-75
you can only ever reroll a dice once. ie: use the 2+ reroll from the twinlink, rather than the 6 from the BS. Schertenleib
So if you roll to hit and get a one you don't get to re-roll twin-linked weapons? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192185-quick-rules/#findComment-2281507 Share on other sites
DV8
So if you roll to hit and get a one you don't get to re-roll twin-linked weapons? No, you pick either or. Having BS6+ grants a re-roll, but with negative modifiers. So with BS6, if you roll a 1, you can reroll the To-Hit roll, but this time needing a 6 instead of 2+. Having Twin-Linked means you re-roll your to-hit roll, but you can never re-roll a dice more than once. So in this instance you have a choice of either hitting on 2+, rerolling on 2, or hitting on 2+, and then rerolling on a 6 if you miss. Obviously you take twin-linking 2+, and not 2+/6+. Ullr Direfang
if a weapon allows a re-roll(twinlinked) then you get no bonus for having a BS of higher then 5. Xeenos
take a look at page 18 of your rule book, top left corner. That explains how BS 6-10 works. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192185-quick-rules/#findComment-2282466 Share on other sites
