Pandora
Hey guys, just uploading my daemon prince now. I had him up as a WIP a long time ago but real life kinda got in the way, hope you like. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10249.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10250.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10251.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10252.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10253.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10254.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10255.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10256.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10257.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/Pandora_21/SDC10258.jpg he's up on ebay now, need the money, so I'm just posting him here to keep the memory of him somewhere. :P Cheers for looking guys. The Nephilim
Nicely done. I like the free hand on the tabard. I wish GW would do other marked Daemon Princes... Gresiloth
The tabard isn't freehand. Anyway I really like your colour scheme, I'm a big fan of bone-coloured Nurgle models (as my own army proves haha), and you've done a really good job, looks nicely weathered. The skin tone is interesting too; have you used any washes on the flesh though? Perhaps it's just the photograph but the grey/blue looks a bit flat in places. I like how you carry the tone through onto his back pipes too. All he needs now is a base! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192242-nurgle-daemon-prince/#findComment-2283385 Share on other sites
FuriosoFury
He looks phenomenal, I don't normally like Nurgle models as a lot of people don't really put this much effort into them. Best of luck on eBay! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192242-nurgle-daemon-prince/#findComment-2283493 Share on other sites

Nah, tabard's not man, but I shaded the circles a little, so that's maybe why it looks that way. The tabard isn't freehand. Never understood how they turned a dark catachan green when the armor pre-heresy was white. And when I painted it there wasn't any washes released! Was quite a while ago. looking now it could have done with a little more shading, but ah well. :) He looks phenomenal, I don't normally like Nurgle models as a lot of people don't really put this much effort into them. Best of luck on eBay! Thanks very much man, appreciate it. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192242-nurgle-daemon-prince/#findComment-2284035 Share on other sites
iandanger
I really like the color scheme, I think a lot of the nurgle model's I've been seeing lately are rocking the classic death guard look. I know I personally paint mine that way. I really like the armored parts, the only bit I'd change would be highlighting the skin a bit lighter, that way its a little less blue. Thats purely a question of aesthetics though, the painting is excellent. I 'd like to see a closer shot of his face, the eye looks bloodshot and crazy, i like it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192242-nurgle-daemon-prince/#findComment-2284043 Share on other sites
