What actually does affect a Fearless model?

Hi all,

I have read a number of times people suggesting that fearless units are only immune to Morale and Pinning tests but not Leadership tests, most recently this one

Now I am fairly ok with the majority of rules but I just cant wrap my head around the meaning of this one.

So can someone well versed in the rules clarify what scenarios a fearless unit is affected?

For example

You have lost 25% through shooting attacks

You have lost combat

You have been tankshocked

You have been shot by a pinning weapon

Cant think of any other scenarios at the moment (though I am sure there are some)

Wan

You have lost 25% through shooting attacks - morale

You have lost combat - morale

You have been tankshocked - morale

You have been shot by a pinning weapon - pinning

so your effectivly immume to all of above tests. note however that when you lose combat with a fearless unit you take armour saves by the margin you lost with (lost by 2 wounds? take a further 2 wounds) this is because the unit is fighting on and is thus subject to the "no reatreat" special rule. also a reason orks dont want to lose a combat since theyre bound to lose even more bodies that way

Indeed everything you listed are moral tests or pinning tests. Non-moral/pinning ld checks are the ones fearless does not help against. For example

Psychic tests

The test to not be istand deathed vs boneswords or direswords

The dooms soul suck and tyrants psychic scream

The Changlings Glamour ot Tzeentch
