Niiai
Hi. I paint my Space wolf purple and orange (a crime I know :P ) Anyway, they look quite good, IMHO, at least under the working lamp. However everytime I play the room is generaly pretty dark resulting on my oponent not being a abel to tell what any of my forces are up to. However, after painting my weapons orange (they used to be purple) my oponent can generaly get a better percebtion on what he is up against. This of coruse, results in a happier oponent. :-) I would therefore advice people to try to mark there important details clearly if they want to meet hapier oponents. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192288-playing-and-painting-nice/ Share on other sites

magnusthetraitor
That reminds me of the old second-edition scheme of red power weapons, bolters, etc. I have adopted a glowing red-orange look for my power weapons, and it certainly makes it easier to identify them on the tabletop for both myself and (hopefully) for my opponent. With that said, purple and orange Space Wolves sound dangerously close to heresy. I request pics so that a proper judgement can be made. ;-) magnus Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192288-playing-and-painting-nice/#findComment-2282863 Share on other sites
Niiai
I guess you run the Safety Wolves with all that orange? That's actual quite funny. :P I think they look good, as long as you try to keep the orange/yellow to no more then about 10% of the model. Wispy
I'd prefer to play in a g good, well-lit room. That produces way more happier opponents.
