Walter Payton
The Fenrisite Heresy The daemon's ecstatic touch woke Fulgrim from his nightmare. The deception of his brother, Ferrus, had bound him, a prisoner within the fleshy shell of his own body. He lay, surrounded on all sides by hellish symbols, on a lurid disc of pink warp energy. He knew that he was looking at his own soul, corrupted and twisted by the daemon that had subjugated him, just as he readied his strike upon his traitorous brother. The daemon, its leering face twisted into a look of triumph, spoke, 'Surely, Phoenician, you have seen visions of what is to come? Of the devastation, of death?' Fulgrim said nothing, determined not to give the daemon the satisfaction of a response. 'Oh dear,' hissed the daemon, 'oh dear dear dear, we can't have that. One more chance, little Fulgrim, before I start to make it difficult.' 'For the Emperor,' replied Fulgrim. The daemon sighed. 'Not good enough,' it crowed Ropes of pink fire sprang from its outstretched hands, binding Fulgrim in a net of agony. At a gesture, the ropes sheeted Fulgrim's body in flame. He spasmed, and screamed. Screamed for the agony that gnawed at his soul, screamed for the horror that was engulfing the Imperium, screamed for the treachery of his brothers. As he collapsed, tortured and agonised, he realised that no amount of screaming could free him now... Brother Captain Alaric
I'm enjoying all these alternate heresies popping up, all of them are interesting reads! Looking forward to how this turns out! Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I did not spot Loken in there..........Looking forward to seeing him pop up. Sempronius
I'm glad to see that for once, not only is Sanguinius a Loyalist, considering he's not usually a Loyalist in most alternate Heresies, but he's the friggen WARMASTER! YEAH! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192369-the-fenrisite-heresy/#findComment-2284420 Share on other sites
calgar101
Sanguinius should of always been warmaster. This is interesting, but shouldn't you finish your story before starting something else? Captain Juan Juarez
Rogal Dorn, the Emperor's Praetorian, The Terran, -Imperial FistsPerturabo, the Ironblood, The Olympian, -Iron Warriors - In my opinion, if you are keeping to the rivalry between the siege Legions it an either/or situation. Angron, the Gladiator, Hero of Arrigata, -World Eaters - Too likely to fall. Konrad Curze, the Shadowknight, the Just, the Pious,- Night Lord - Unless you are ignoring what Kurze is supposed to have said to the Big Fella, one of the more likely to fall! Ferrus Manus, the Dark Prince's Own, the Golden, -Iron Hands - Role reversal with Fulgrim? Roboute Guilliman, the Tactician, the Ultralord, Tzeentch's Aspirant, -Ultramarines - Papa Smurf falling? Doesn't jive! Alpharius Omegon, Twinsoul, the Hydra, -Alpha Legion - Missed opportunity here, to show the true loyalty of the AL. Walter Payton
To be honest, all the Traitor Primarchs falls could have been avoided, and that is what happened here. Oh and Ferrus and Fulgrim won't have a complete role reversal. After all, the machine is perfect... Captain Juan Juarez
To be honest, all the Traitor Primarchs falls could have been avoided, and that is what happened here. Yet the one who could be most certainly avoided, that of Alpharius Omegon, you stick to? :P In fairess, the icon of killy-stabby-death that is Angron was always like to the predations of Khorne. And Kurze... "I know what you have planned for me", or words to that effect. Thos two are the biggest "mistakes" in my eyes, otherwise the rest is plausible. EDIT: Now, stop distracting me for ten minutes whilst I write reports at work ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192369-the-fenrisite-heresy/#findComment-2285170 Share on other sites
calgar101
Actually Angrons fall could of been prevented. If he writes in his AH that the Emperor teleported onto the planet with an army of Custodes and helps Angron and his gladiators to win the battle then Angron would not of been bitter and probably would of stopped the use of the implants straight away. Martial pride and honour was/is a big thing for Angron; if the Big E helped which he could of, he'd of had Angron with him the whole distance. calgar101
Oh Damn... but it remains true. The biggest balme for the Primarchs fall lies mostly on the Emperors shoulders.
