I have been having a go at some of the detail work on a few minis and some more priming and so on id like youre c&c but please be gentle as i am a beginner at painting i normally just convert and dont paint much but id like you comments and any help or input . also i still have to ouch up some of these and do some washes

just a little update as i havent had much free time due to work and the misses taking up most of wot little time i have free . anyways i have managed to get

 

most of the detail work on 20 terminators pre washes and needs cleaning up

and 20 marines left hands done pre wash stage lol

and finished chaplin

 

and a few other bits and bobs but nothing exciting as ive just been trying new things out on random models

 

need to get at least half my army complete and a campaign armylist draw up buy march 11th for a big campaign im in with 15 others

 

i need at least 2k army list divided up into a defending army attacking army and a small recon unit all in a 2-2.5k army list so any help would be appreciated thanks and pics to follow soon

id like to drop lysander and libi and stick in karn and pedro with a 10man honour guard armed with relic blades and banner giving me I5 and S7 with hit and run and 3A standard this unit has worked wonders for me i the past but slightly expensive

Firstly amazing job its the little and big conversions that you've done and thought with which you assemble your models really make an army stand out. I too am just about to start a fists army and will be posting pics of my captain soon hopefully.

 

Does anyone know the force organisation for a crusade company or is it just another name for the first company of the crimson fists

 

A crusade company or the crusade company?

 

 

Crusade Company is supposed to be 193 marines ( the number of marines that Survived the Rynn's World Diaster) led by the Chapter Master instead of a captain so all aspects similar to 1st company but larger in size

 

Actually brother not strictly true the crusade company existed long before The disaster at Rynns World. It came about because after the Crusade of Righteous Liberation The Crimson fists were left with 128 marines. Since then the crusade company which is the same as any other chapters 1st company has numbered 128 and it is considered a bad omen to go to war without a full strength crusade compay. However you are right in that the Crusade company captain is always the chapter master of the Crimson fists in this case Pedro Kantor.

managed to get some more basecoating done today and a little highlights on some scouts and sternguard and some more details on termis but nothing major as its taking me ages to do all the small detail work on every model im doing a production line method to try and keep to consistency . anyways pics soon

Time for an update but no pics im afraid as i have just moved house and cannot find my dam camera . But i will update with pics as soon as i find it . Anyways so far in between moving and work i have managed to build prime and base coat 2 dreads 1 of which is a new venerable plus 50% painted chaplin with jump pack 1 captain and 10 honour guard all with relic blades but no detail work as yet oh and a drop pod and a few other random models so all in all not to bad considering .

anotehr little update pics to follow soon . I managed to get the day off work so i decided to take a trip to warhammer world for there forgeworld open day and picked me up some goodies 1 of which was the mkIIb landraider nice im in the process of converting it into a crusader or redeemer and the other little goodies i got was a pair of dreadnought close combat arms plus a load of shoulder pads and little bits could have spent loads but i managed to restrain myself :-) .
