I'd go for a darker color red and highlight and then wash it. Other thing is I'd put a scorch mark on the barrel of the gun. Other than that, nice job. Try shading the red with Blood Red and Scroched brown, maybe only a highlight with Blood Red and Bubonic Brown, it looks beautiful! It's what I've done of a friends Genesis Chapter marine army and it doesn't look pink of orange, its really effective! Great work man I'm looking forward to seeing more!
