jjfelber
How do Kill point games work. I understand what constitutes a kill point, but I am not sure how it is scored. Is it just how many KPs you have Vs how many KPs your opponent has? If so, wouldn't make sense to have as few KPs possible in your army? Say you have an elite army and it only has 9 KPs (3 LRs, 2 crazy unit of GHs, 2 Crazy units of WGT, and 2 Crazy HQs). All you would have to do is get 9KPs, and it becomes impossible to lose. I must be very mistaken in how KPs are scored. Do you get extra points for doing certain things during the game? Controlling Tables Quarters? DV8
Don't forget however that having less KPs means you're fielding less units, which in turn means your army may be at a disadvantage versus another army that may field more units (thus more KPs), but is able to bring much more killing power to bear. Also don't forget that even if your army's total KPs is less than your opponents, losing every unit automatically means you lose the game, no matter what the objective is (or how many KPs you may have gotten). So there is no such thing as "impossible to lose". Example, you face an Imperial Guard army with lets say 15 KPs and you have 9 KPs in your army. You could kill 14 out of those 15 KPs, but if you lose all 9 of your units, you still lose even though you had 14 KPs and your opponent only got 9 KPs. Grey Mage
Yep- Annihilation is always a victory condition... Though supposedly thats not the case with some of the new battle missions. *shrugs*.
