Momento Mori
I'm debating whether to put a numeral on it somewhere, until then, it's finished. Not too sure if I over-did it on the weathering, let me know what you think! Kronk
The wear and tear from the chipped paint is a nice touch. This is a very well painted model. I also like your discoloration on the barrels of the multi-melta and the crusaider seals. Well done, my man. Well done! Edit: Although, looking at our codex, you can't mix a multi-melta and an assault cannon. We can only run Heavy Bolters with our Assault cannons, if I am reading that entry correctly. Brother Ash
Awesome paint job. Can we see more of your Templars? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192809-black-templar-landspeeder/#findComment-2290296 Share on other sites

Rogue
That tabard is great - it looks like an oil-on-canvas painting, really rich. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192809-black-templar-landspeeder/#findComment-2290829 Share on other sites
BrotherAtrox
Great looking minis here. That Templar is a work of art. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192809-black-templar-landspeeder/#findComment-2290922 Share on other sites
Brother Ash
WOW.... just WOW! Thats how Templars should look. Makes me want to start a new Templar army :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192809-black-templar-landspeeder/#findComment-2291420 Share on other sites
Euraldius
Wow, that looks really awesome! I wish my Templars looked half as good. And Kronk is right about the rules, which is a shame. Oh well, whenever BT get a new codex, it'll probably be legal. Isiah
That's a very nice speeder and marine. Great work on the purity seal tassel things and the tabbard - brings the whole lot to life. It's hard to get black items to look 'right'. Usually they suffer from far too much grey highlight/panel edging, but the wear you have incorporated on the speeder means you need less grey = better overall look. Momento Mori
Thanks everyone! I'll be posting up more stuff soon. They need to word the landspeeder entry a little better, as I'm sure it says 'additionally you can upgrade with an assault cannon for x points' or something like that. Oh well, I'll proxy the melta as a flamer or HB Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192809-black-templar-landspeeder/#findComment-2291480 Share on other sites
AngryJohnny
Both models look great IMO. I wouldn't add a numeral marking to you speeder, the only thing I'd change would be to drill out the barrels. Excellent work. canada steve
Wonderful models. Wasnt sure about the amount of chipping as it all looked gray in the first couple of shots, then when you took it from a different view could see it was more boltgun. The figure is amazing, I love the tabbard which means Im gonna now spend the weekend redoing mine until it looks better !!! Great job.
