Greyhunter77
I'm looking for any information on the Night Lords pre heresey can anyone help? I know Curze fought Dorn (and kicked his butt) and then fled to destroy Nostromo, but what were they doing between then and their recall to join the assault on Isstvaan V? Also can anyone recommend Night Lord Books as essential reading? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192956-night-lords-preheresey/ Share on other sites
Gree
Soul Hunter is pretty much a must read. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192956-night-lords-preheresey/#findComment-2291903 Share on other sites
Seregon
Lord of the Night as well as Index Astartes book number 2 would also be a good read. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/192956-night-lords-preheresey/#findComment-2291963 Share on other sites

Legatus
The Index Astartes Night Lords is mandatory. While I haven't read Sould Hunter yet, I would not neccessarily recomend Lord of the Night. It was an ok book, but it has a very skewed view on the Night Lords by the protagonist, who had been misled about their nature. The Night Lords he speaks of (or reminisces about) in the book are not the Night Lords of the Warhgammer 40k game. Even though that is sort of revealed at some point in the book, by that time a lot of readers had already adopted the protagonists view and did not accept the revelation.
