So if it rolls Crazed and fires all of its weapons twice but it has a missile launcher which firing type/ammunition does it use? Is there way of determing? Does the owner choose? the opponent? a roll?

I think the owner of the Dread chooses and rolls the dice. If it's a twin-linked lascannon and they miss their own units then they can opt not to re-roll the dice. I quite like that one.
