Nurgle71
A scenario I thought of when reading " Storm of Iron". It is based on Forrix's defence of the tunnels after the chemical poison was spilled. Defence of the Mines Participants: Chaos: 1 Chaos Lord in Terminator armour with Combi-melta and Powerfist (aka Forrix) Imperials: 5 groups of 3 Space Marines. One of those groups can upgrade one member to a Sergeant with power sword ( the wretched Imperial Fist :D ) Battlefield: To represent the tunnels the Iron Warriors were digging, the battlefield should be covered in terrain ie. rock piles and be cramped. D3x2 pieces should be placed to represent the toxic sludge that wasn't drained or soaked up by the soil. Markers should be place to represent the two entry place on each side of the board. Deployment: Chaos and Imperial roll for sides. The two forces are then deployed within 4" of the mine entrance. Only 3 group of Space Marines are placed initially. Winning Conditions: The Chaos Lord have to prevent the Imperials to touch the Chaos entrance. Since the alarm been sound, reinforcement might arrive any moment. From Turn 3 onwards, a dice is rolled at the end of every turn. On a 6, Chaos troops have arrived and the game ends. Special Rules: The Space Marine groups are recyclable. If one whole group is destroyed they are put aside and come back on in the next move phase. Before the attack, the tunnels have been flooded by toxic chemicals. The toxic chemicals count as difficult terrain and anyone moving through them recieve D3 Str 2 Ap- hits. What do you guys think?
