The_Chaplain
wow, I never realized how small epic miniatures were until you did the size comparison shot- you must have a keen eye and a steady hand to get those models to come out that nicely! Vaaish
Well it's been a grueling couple of weeks finishing up these speeders. I'd planned on two weeks to do all 18 but last week too almost the entire week for prep so little paint made it to the models. I did manage to finish up the models by monday night, but I had to wait till tonight seal them. I think that this will be the last set of GW speeders in the modern style I will paint. I'm constantly disappointed with them and trying to get the weapons to stick. I was a little annoyed at how they were painting up too, but I guess they turned out alright. Next up I'll be finishing up my strike cruisers. :P http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/epic/brspeeders01.jpg http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/epic/brspeeders02.jpg http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/epic/brspeedersgroup.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193057-vaaishs-epic-thread/page/6/#findComment-3067336 Share on other sites
Vaaish
So.... I'm going to do a bit of massive thread necromancy here and dredge up one of my old threads I've forgotten about for quite some time. Ok, so three years. A lot's happened then and suffice to say there's a lot of little tiny models painted. I think I might have improved a bit too in my painting of 6mm Imperial Fist models. :) These guys round out most of my acquisisitons for my personal Imperial Fists army. I've still got a couple of things to go like repainting my 8 land raiders since the quality difference between them and these guys is laughable. I might also add in a few droppods at some point too. Enjoy! http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/epic/IFPredTD02.jpg http://www.twolandscreative.com/wip/epic/IFRazorbacksTD02.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193057-vaaishs-epic-thread/page/6/#findComment-3972849 Share on other sites

Lachdannan
Awesome. You have such a talent for detail at such a small scale. Very well done. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193057-vaaishs-epic-thread/page/6/#findComment-3973061 Share on other sites
Jolemai
Can definitely see the improvement! Have a like for the threadromancy and I'm ashamed to say that the not only have I yet to see this thread before now but also that the English language lacks the superlatives to accurately describe what is going on here. Vaaish
Thanks guys! There's a lot of minis between those BR speeders and these IF preds though. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193057-vaaishs-epic-thread/page/6/#findComment-3973218 Share on other sites
