Hrothgar Beastslayer
I won a canis wolfborn model in a tournement recently and have converted him into a lord on thunderwolf mount, I did this by switching the arms up. But i still think he looks to much like canis, i need to take the head off. The problem is that his beard is modelled onto his chest plate and back. Any ideas as to how to do this? i dont want to just hack the thing off and clippers wont be clean enough. Any thoughts/tips welcome. TheLoneWolf
How about using a modelling file and knife to slowly file and scrape them off? Howling
Well......actually I did cut of the head of my canis to use it as my wolflord....it was quite the nasty job (aspecially since I needed to get rid of the helmet at his side as well...) Personally I don't have a modelling file.....and thus used a thick wireclipper, alot of controled brute force....a :cussload of rage, and after some time...it actually looked quite fine ^^ So yeah....raw force...and a wireclipper.... Wispy
I did this. I'm not quite sure how I did it. http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu84/Matrias/IMG_1782.jpg The little paw charm on the chest is from one of the wolf guard terminators. Hrothgar Beastslayer
Good, i did give him another backpack, one from the devvy kit, looks pre-heresy kinda. I love that model Wispy, though i must say the head looks a little small. Seems im gonna have to hack and slash the ol'space wolf way! Pork Chop Express
A dremel or similiar rotary tool would work best to remove the bulk of the head. The rotary tool is more precise than just using brute force and some wire clippers. The clippers tend to take off more than you want...learned that the hard way. After that, I would file off the rest of the hair on the chest.
