xa0s
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Postlethwaite Pete for Eisenhorn. He has the face for it and he is a great actor. OMG, I checked out his profile and remember him from a couple of flicks (Aliens 3), and he's definitely PERFECT to be Gregor Eisenhorn!! morcus
Roman Polanski would be my choice for Director (I've better ideas but again they're dead). mmgood
Tobias- definately Johnny Depp I like Mickey Rorke, and Ron Pearlman for any male supporting roles. Throw in Clancy Brown as well (the Kurgan in "highlander") And possibly Arnold Swarzenagger and Naveen Andros (Sayeed on "lost") For Eisenhorn: hmmm I would have to say that Hugh 6ackman would do the role justice. Can't argue with Hugo Weaving as Cherubael unless it was to say that Willem Dafoe does maniac well also. morcus
Polanski is an amazing director. New line of enqirey, Locations? Would you want it shot on location or in a studio? I don't want to give any idea at the present but I think it would be so much better if as much as possible was done in real locations. Brother_Kaelgrim
Definitely favor CGI for the locations, with a few RL locations when feasible. Alot of the 40k universe is fantastic in scope and I don't think you could capture that with alot of RL locations. The emperors chosen
Definitely CGI, maybe for the train and church scenes you could do RL locations, but most of it you would need CGI for. Grand Master Tyrak
Some things could be done in a studio or with only partial CGI - Eisenhorn's house, for example. A blue-screen set doesn't have to be entirely blue-screen. morcus
I think something like this would be better if as little as possible was done without CGI but in real locations and on built sets. Walter Payton
For the stuff on Cadia, I imagine either the Highlands of Scotland, or Siberia. Thracian Primaris-Just use the Rome CGI reels from Gladiator Gudrun-Venice Cinchare would have to be CGI. On another note-SEAN CONNERY FOR UBER AEMOS! Brother_Kaelgrim
Aye I think Sean Connery could do a good Uber. The problem is is Uber is just so damn old. I have a hard time picturing someone who isn't Ian McKellen doing XD Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193293-eisenhorn-movie-fictitious/page/2/#findComment-2299932 Share on other sites
morcus
Have you seen Connery lately? His time evading tax has left him looking very old. Dexter Kong
Gregor Eisenhorn: Michael Biehn. Because he's freakin' awesome. Alizebeth Bequin: Catherine Zeta Jones Midas Betancore: Damon Wayans (he was the wise-cracking type) Medea Betancore: Taraji P. Henson (soooo hot) Uber Aemos: Martin Landau Harlon Nayl: Randy Couture Gideon Ravenor: Cillian Murphy Heldane: Ron Pearlman Godwyn Fischig: Bill Moseley Quixos: Penn Jillette (when it comes to someone looking big and crazy, I don't think there's anyone better) Commodus Voke: Michael Caine Cherubael: This would be tricky. I think Gary Oldman would be best as the "pure" Cherubael, with his face being digitally masked over the faces of whoever the daemon is currently possessing.
