Crusade Expansion Painting Challenge....

I am in need of some motivation, and I think a new Templar painting challenge would be awesome. I had good fun with the last one, and enjoyed everyone's completed vow's.

MOD's, can we get a new Crusade Expansion Painting Challenge going? Please. Thanks for your time, and post up if you agree and want to participate, the more people we get, the better it goes.

I think they are meant to be roughly 6 months apart and the last one ended in August/September - so it is probably due soon. Von Richtofen is the main man when it comes to Expansion Crusades so its up to him at this stage.

But they are good fun and I encourage everyone to get involved, regardless of skill level.

Thanks for info, DasPanzerIstUber, much appreciated. Hopefully, Von Richtofen, isn't to busy at the moment to set one up in the near future.

Well, in either case, I am looking forward to the next Challenge, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Seconded. Looking forward to giving the next one a shot.

I'm in a similar position...need motivation to paint adn missed the cut off for the LPC by 2 days...curse the international time difference...well, that and my inability to check the forums regularly...

:-)

Even if there is nothing official organised, what's the chance of an informal challenge, with no reward other than fellow BT brethren oohhing and aahhing over any completed mini's?

If this isn't possible, or rather is not encouraged in order to support the formal challenges, then I apologise...

:-)

"Pity not the Heretic....just kill it"

I want 3000 points of Black Templar, whilst following the FOC, from you by April 21st!! GOGOGO!!!!

LMAO!!!

Whilst I do have about 3000 points unpainted, it's not looking good to be completed by April 21st...well, not 2010 anyway.

:)

Brethren!

Despite my duty calling me to the far reaches of known space, I have heard your calls!

Expect news of the latest Crusade Expansion soon (i.e. this weekend, if all goes well).

I'm going to shake things up a bit this year, just to keep it interesting.

Let's all make Helbrecht Proud!

AWESOME! I have been working on some Khorne Daemons in the mean time, and I am ready to get back to painting black! I need to get my army painted up so I can play larger games, its just hard to keep focused on one project with all the awesome stuff I am seeing on this web site and all of the blogs I frequent.

I am looking forward to this challenge and to what you have in mind for spicing it up a little bit.

Got to stay faithful to the Emperor and to the Crusade, and these painting challenges are essential motivation tools for quite a few of us. I also appreciate how they are set up and love to see everyone else's painted miniatures along with mine. Great for ideas on converting and different paint schemes as well. I look forward to this weekend, and I all ready have my pledge built and primed just been waiting for that push to get me going on the painting.

Now my wife will quit bugging me about having all these miniatures and not painting them before i purchase more, ;)

I'm glad there is still interest in these little challenges! ;)

Add me to the interested list. I didn't enter the last one as I am hopeless at painting to a deadline, but I am getting behind in my tournament schedule so I will have to man up and have a go.

Ok I'll unpin the Expansion Gallery and put a link in the Resource Thread (under the Showcase section).

The Expansion VI thread will stay stickied for the duration of the crusade and will be merged with the Gallery upon completion.
