Brother Tancred
For my 1000 points list I'm using a 5 man sternguard unit with 2 combi-meltas, 2 combi-plasmas and a heavy flamer. http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/CallumM27/IMG_1822.jpg http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/CallumM27/IMG_1823.jpg http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/CallumM27/IMG_1824.jpg
Brother Alucard
http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/CallumM27/IMG_1822.jpg like it, looks like the wax on the purity seal might get a little hot and melt though, :)
jester_prince
like it, looks like the wax on the purity seal might get a little hot and melt though, msn-wink.gif I think i read somewhere that most marines get given a wax purity seal but also get a metal one made to attach to their armour. Otherwise I think too many purity seals would be lost in combat and I get a feeling its not something you can just ask to have another one made. dizzy-xc
Purity seals are made out of a ceramic wax that has a melting point of 6000 degrees. Only certain plasma cutters can melt them down... and mb a multi-melta. Saw the behind the scenes on how they were made. Pretty cool stuff...
