Toys or Boys?

So I am buying the new Venerable Dreadnought model next month and I'll have just enough money left over to either get a Drop Pod or another Space Wolf Pack box set. Im torn on which to buy. I currently have two squads of GH and have been eyeing a third but that DP could be very handy. So which would you pick up?

It really depends on your list, and what direction you want to go with it. Purchase whatever you'd rather play with.

That being said, I personally would go Drop Pod. Reason being, you can often get cheap troops off of Ebay with a little searching. Things like pods are much more difficult to find cheap.

I say roll a dice/d6, best two out of three result toward the chose of more Grey Hunter or a Drop pod. Let Russ chose your fate :D

Just there two side

Grey Hunter - New Wolf spure cool, more cool bits, mean painting more cool models

Drop Pod - Dose give you a little break from painting infantry & is a nice model.

Ether way you will still get some cool models to paint up along with the Venrable Dreadnought.

Or what wildfire suggested

Get the GH. You can proxy a DP in casual play very easily. (soda bottle will do in a pinch.) But the GH will give you a solid core of troops and plenty of wolfy bits. Assuming you got the first 2 GH squads from wolf boxes, you'll have enough wolfy bits you can make normal tac marines look wolfy if you can lay hands on them for cheap.

Drop pods are useful, but getting a solid army core is more important first.
