diddy_lemon1
I was wondering if their was anyway to specifically show the wolfblade? I've had a little look around which has unfortunatly turned up fairly empty handed :to: I assume they would no longer have their original companys heraldry, do they have something else instead or just a blank pad? Are their any specifics showing their assignment to the wolfblade? Also any idea about how would you model Haegers gut? I'm yet to think of one that i could pull off without it looking silly :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193588-modeling-the-wolfblade/ Share on other sites
Schertenleib
Their heraldry is a black background, two white wolves standing on their back feet facing each other with a single eye (yellow IIRC) between them. As for Haegers gut... There is a bit in the new Space Wolves box that fits over the belt on the torso. I believe it's supposed to be a Belt of Russ. When I put it on my Wolf Lord I found that it makes him look like he has a beer gut. So that may very well work for the conversion. Anyway, have fun, and post pics so we can all see how it's going. Wolf Lord Ronin
Well, he is called Haegr the Mountain, so a sort of pseudo-true scale attempt on him might work, using terminator legs, and maybe termie arms, with a regular marines backpack and torso (along with the aforementioned belt of russ to give him a paunch). Dont forget a keg of Fenrisian ale. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193588-modeling-the-wolfblade/#findComment-2299885 Share on other sites

bareserker
In the novel doesnt it say he wears Termie modified armour? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193588-modeling-the-wolfblade/#findComment-2302679 Share on other sites
Wulfen00
No, It does mention of how his armour appears heavily modified, if a bit clunky, to fit his giant form. And it is highly unlikely that they would waste terminator armour on a lowly wolfblade. If you can get some old terminator legs or some other form of larger legs/ arms, GS a gut/ larger front on a regular chest and a rather hairy face that would be great. P.S. dont forget the constant bucket on his foot!! Matt D
it seem one ove the old style termies would work in a pinch since they are bigger than PA but smaller than TDA now. pluss the base would be the right size.
