Nanashi
Hi fellow wolfbrothers! I really like the idea having veterans leading squads so the pack leader rule for wolf guard is very interesting. If I understand the Pack Leader rule correctly I should be able to include 3 wolf guard in my army (because 3 is minimum) and then split them up in other squads or do I need to have atleast 3 wolf guard in a unit on the field and then split off any wolf guard except the 3 minimum size? What I want is having all wolf guards in different units because I am not intrested in having a wolf guard pack. Ullr Direfang
.... i am sure this could be easily found through search but.... you can always split the WG off to units. if you wanted to you could have 5 WG and put four of them with packs and leave one guy running around by him self. Joasht
You can split them all off ;) I've had a time where I did what Ullr mentioned, leaving one guy alone, but my "one guy" was a cyclone ML Terminator. He was walking around sniping things with his two mobile missile shots, killed a decent number of things.... In my mind the CML guy always AUTOMATICALLY has to go with the Long Fang squad... But on;y now I realised that he does not have to :P. In my mind the CML guy always AUTOMATICALLY has to go with the Long Fang squad... But on;y now I realised that he does not have to :tu:. I like to put the CML with a GH pack in defensive positions, or sitting on objectives. The only WG I keep with LF is a basic WG in PA @18pts and use him as an ablative wound and to help against CC attacks.
