So the Khârn might infact have some of Genghis' DNA and dorn might have some roman emperors DNA thrown into the mix. If he can take strolls around the solar system in the time of knights and maidens he can easily keep some DNA on ice. A simple stasis krypt, a bit of biomancy every now and then to refresh it.
