Heres my new ven dread, Just to be a bit different i thought I'd make him a Chaplain.

Hello Phal Brannon,

 

Great model, I just have 2 comments here.

 

- Be sure to remove the sprueclippings and moldlines before you undercoat this beasty. I still have some on my regular marines from my time when I didn't bother and really regret this now.

- Although the head/helmet looks great I love that skull. IMO it'looks a little flimsy on such a huge model. Probebly because of the grill in front of it. Now it looks like he has a problem peeking over or through the grill. I dont know if it's better if you remove the grill.

That looks very nice - what did you use for the head?

 

I think it looks good but the DCCW fist looks too 'normal' for a chaplain. Could you 'Crozarius it up'?

Looking nice. How does everyone have thier hands on the new Ven Dread kit (like for over a week)? Is it out in other countries and just not in Australia yet or what?

Yeah, where is the skull from? I love it so far, but be sure to clean it up right and proper!
