Ayura
Wow i overlooked these... no images etc in the codex just a profile. While these seem like they would die easy, they have plenty of rending attacks and are fast fast. What are you guys thoughts on seekers? And how come i cant find the models on GW !! Ntin
There has been a prototype Seeker with the new style Daemonette floating about along with the plastic daemon prince, for the long awaited Daemons of Chaos / Chaos Daemon 2nd wave. The original Seeker of Slaanesh came out during the Eye of Terror campaign. Finding them is one reason they are seldom used. I often run them in groups of 12 or 18 but it is tricky because their foot print is simply huge and it can take a turn just to get them unbunched up. If a majority of them can get into combat is rather devastating especially against other T3 models. Vertebrae
There are no official models for the seekers, so you have to convert them yourself (which happens to be a trend with Daemons). Seekers are great, when taken in great amounts. Of the fast attack options, they really are one of the 2 that are worth taking. The other are Flesh Hounds. Personally, I'd never take them unless I was running a pure Slaanesh list. If you use them, let us know how it turns out. Ayura
You recon the hounds are a better choice? how so? what size hound squads are good for 1000-1500 point game? Ntin
Flesh Hounds of Khorne have that extra toughness that lets them survive a little bit better. On average though a Flesh Hound of Khorne has less killing potential than a Seeker of Slaanesh. Primarch16
The general theasis is Seekers>Daemonettes. The extra speed and attacks is well worth the points. Unless you badly need scoring units, in which case nettes are hardly the hottest choice for that. Most people dont have the models though.
