Warhorse47
My frazzled brain was thinking today about modding a couple of wolf models to be four legged gun servitors to go with my Iron Priest. It seems like it would be fun, but I'm trying to see any possible problems. Any ideas and observations are welcome. Thanks brothers! Warhorse47
Hmmm, new thought.....which base should I put them on? 25mm, cavalry base, 40mm.....? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193930-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2304668 Share on other sites
The Fenrisian
Someone said the 'S' word....restart the clock! :cuss  On a serious note, I think it's a good idea Warhorse. Have you seen the cyber-mastiff that one of the Inquisitor characters has? I've been looking at getting it for my Iron Priests Cyber-wolves, but I'm sure it could be modded to fit a ruddy great gun onto it. I've just had trouble tracking them down seperately, as it's from an £18 character pack and I don't plan on using the main 54mm figure from it. I think I will also build a Servitor with a super shovel for clean up! Greywolf
I like this idea. Nice start. I would put them on the new bike bases though to keep it 40K looking and take away soe of the fantasy look with the square basing. Warhorse47
Good suggestion, I just used these as a base to start work, they will pop off easily. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193930-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2305569 Share on other sites
Firenze
If they are 'my' pack, then one must be called Daisy after my dog. Im not joking either... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193930-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2306543 Share on other sites

Commander Sasha
"Daisy" was the name of the monitor desk on The Prodigy's Jilted Generation tour (a friend owned and operated her). 'Tis a noble name. LakotaWolf
http://www.angelfire.com/nc3/blackgold/test.jpg  i was working on this tonight and i see you did about the same thing.........i did mine up as if it was a cyberwolf and the gun was attached directly to the wolfs bone structure thru adamantum...............question is what stats to use Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193930-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2308228 Share on other sites
Warhorse47
To keep things legal, I will use the regular servitor stats, as you can use a larger base on models so instead of a 25mm base they gat a bike base. Warhorse47
Changed my mind, Daisy will be a different Wolf entirely........ http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff303/Kevin-Andra/014-9.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193930-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2314655 Share on other sites
Night Runner
Great stuff ! Very original. The robo wolf is looking good. I've recognized the head from the Fenris wolf but the rest escapes me completely. What was it originally? Captain Juan Juarez
I'd envision a a GunWolf-Servitor being modeled with a barrel from between its jaws; a bark worse than its bite? :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/193930-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2315823 Share on other sites
