docbp87
It seemed pretty obvious (sorry) which one belonged to the master of converting Brother sinaer, as his paint style is very unique, and is easy to spot! I voted for you Bro. Sinaer! Great Work all! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/19409-the-winners/page/2/#findComment-200972 Share on other sites

migsula
Well done Finland!!! Yuri's freehand work is fabuluos as ever, but in terms of feeling, stance and flavour Chrophague's mini eat's him for breakfast IMO ;) Nightserpent's one is my fave to be honest, it has all the trademarks of a classic marine hero, but with a fresh and interesting execution. as for my own entry... I FORGOT to email my pics <_< :D :D With the UK GT fever I had before the trip I completely forgot the whole competition... not to worry, I can save the bad boy for a nother comp, like orginally was the plan. Guest 6o4_PnoY
Sry Brother Sinear. =( I voted for those exact ones that won. His style of painting seems more realistic. But it the compatition i didn't want to see someting like that. But instead more like nmm. Commander Y
Well done everybody, and congratulations to the deserving winners. I voted for one that did not place, but included one of the winners as a "Runner Up." I wonder if Kurgan counted all 4 of my votes... <_< I enjoyed looking at all the entries... some really wonderful ideas, and some exceptional painting. Great work! Brother Shatterstone
Well congrats too all the winners... I had only voted for one of the three so two people who didn't place got at least one vote. As for Yuri, I realized two things looking at your entry... I had no chance at all and I'm glad I didn't try. <_< And that's the best paint job I've ever seen. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/19409-the-winners/page/2/#findComment-201500 Share on other sites

Magos Takatus
You three make me thoroughly sick! No, really! Seriously, I think you should be very proud of those modelling skills, I've rarely ever seen that detail on anything smaller than Inquisitor scale figures, and Yuri's model seriously looks like a skilled Inquisitor-scale conversion. I would question the colour choice of the other two models, but they are difficult coluors to pull off, and have been painted with extreme skill, so it's easy to let the odd shade of green go. You fellas are amazing, and I apsire to have a hand steady enough to pull of complex designs sure as Yuri's Celtic patterns, or the understanding of light and shade to make the armour on the runner-up models look convincing. Well done to all three of you. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/19409-the-winners/page/2/#findComment-215428 Share on other sites
