Tullio
Hi, I'm new to the Bolter and Chainsword, but I've known about it for a while. Given that there doesn't seem to be a place to put an introduction topic I might as well introduce myself with a model. This is my DIY chapter, the Knights Vengeant. They've been in development for years now, gone from a fairly flavourless Unforgiven chapter to something that I hope is something of a unique (and believable) take on the Unforgiven. So anyway, this is Brother Mikael of the 3rd Company http://i491.photobucket.com/albums/rr278/Elucidator_Tullio/Adeptus%20Astartes/CIMG1206.jpg The chapter symbol, by the way, is as simple as I could make it. It's the Dark Angels symbol, inverted, with the wings removed Tullio Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194112-knights-vengeant-veteran/ Share on other sites
Captain Mike
The brush control is good, but it lacks depth. Black is a real feth to do, but it can be mastered. Here's a couple of techniques that could help. Paint codex/astronmican grey, then succesively wash badab black. Paint 1:1 mix of black and regal blue and highlight. Paint fully black and do extreme Highlights. But not bad at all.
