pingo
Coolminiornot is not a very good indicator of painting skill for anyone who is not approaching Golden Demon standards. By their rating system 5 is supposed to be tabletop quality. This model is easily above that level, don't worry at all about your painting. The only criticism I would have is that you need to highlight and shade your golds more. Other than that, this is a very neat and tidy job. I like how your highlighting is not too extreme but still picks out the details. I like this: good job! :)
verpine
I like it. Nice gold and great job on the face.
tyrannosaurus
Sick model man, don;t worry about your CMON score, they're pretty elitist over there. In relation to the gold, I think I think it looks really good, whatever you've done has made it pop. Got any more to put up?
Terminatorinhell
the people on CMON are a bit.. elite, but I really like the model, especially the face and the hair.
Rhaja
I have that same model, maybe I'll clean it up and make it all pretty one day. Nice Job though m8. Cheers
Angelfire
I think the gold is fine, especially since he's more along the lines of the older style of 'Eavy Metal Ultramarines: brighter (Ultramarines Blue) blue as opposed to a darker, blackish, blue and bold golds (shining gold) instead of overshaded gold. By your description, this style was intentional, and so I am very impressed by your work. -Angelfire
