I actually find myself using a simple cardboard marker more often than not, but if I really want to use a model I use the old Warmaster Carrion:

My only problem now is deciding whether I want; the squirrel, the hedgehog, the raccoon, or the bunny rabbit for CotS! It'll be classic when they roast someone with their laser eyes.

Rabbit...with long sharp nasty teeth! Just look at the bones!!

I might just have to pick up the hamster, the bunny, and the hedgehog. Too awesome to choose.

 

Then again, anyone ever read Grant Morrison's WE3? I don't have the GS skills to pull off their armor, but it'd be funny to give my rune priests cybernetic house pets(dog, cat, guinea pig) with weapons of mass destruction.
