Washi Posted March 11, 2010 Author Share Posted March 11, 2010 Thanks for all the kind words guys. Wow! That is epic! What do you use to paint/wash/highlight the armour? I prime with skull white, then put 3 layers of GW Yellow Ink (sadly they don't make it anymore, but I managed to get 3 of them). Then I make a mixture of yellow ink and brown ink (5:1) and wash in the recesses. I highlight with badmoon yellow and white. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rogan Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 May be due to the somewhat extreme lighting in th picture, but I'm not too keen on your Lysander. Especially the metal areas look like they'd been drybrushed quite quickly. Your assault terminators however are among the best I have seen so far. Bright, crisp colours and extremely well-done contrasts. The only thing I would criticize is the sergeant's helmet not having a white stripe in the middle. Perhaps some close-ups would help...
