Marshal Arturas
Like it says in the title. I've painted up a Canoness to ally with my Black Templars force, but now I'm stuck with a good name for her. Inferno/Eviscerator load-out, of the Ebon Chalice. Fluff-wise, Alicia Dominica and the Templars go waaaay back--they even share a color scheme. She's a redhead with an inferno pistol and flaming torches behind her head, so I'm thinking of calling her something like "the Firemaid" as a nickname. Maybe "Ignacia" or something as a surname. WAR
The Canoness I use are named Athena (of course after the Greek Goddess) 2nd edition model weilding combi melta and the other is named Alana Janelle (named after an ex girlfriend) flying Nun loadout. What is funny their is another model named Alana (named after the same girl)in the army weilding a heavy bolter and I can't rename her because she kills everything she shoots at. What is really strange my current girlfriend of almost 10 years is only a Squad leader of a basic squad. I have around 200 sisters all named from girls I know, actresses, Goddesses, or girls with cool sounding names. FInd the name of the Founding Sister for the Ebon Chalice and use her first name and Ignacia or Iona Ignacia Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194376-canoness-name/#findComment-2311698 Share on other sites

Dexter Kong
Adaliah de' Constance Adaliah is a Persian name from biblical times, meaning fire god (it's a unisex name) Constance is Latin in origin, and means consistency or steadfastness That's what I'd do anyway...
