MattCrawford
Looking to make myself a Khornate dreadnought to throw into close-combat (not for the purposes of winning, I just enjoy playing up army quirks to the max) Does the CSM Dread sprue have options for two DCCWs? How about the SM Venerable or Regular dreads? If push comes to shove, is the size about right to convert an extra DCCW out of a Defiler arm? EDIT: While we're at it... can they take Marks? I'm pretty sure they can't, but hell, it'd be fun to have a dual-CCW dready with the MoK Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194425-csm-dread-questions/ Share on other sites
Cornelias
the GW chaos dread isn't too hot tbh (it's not plastic btw) and doesn't have dual CCW, your better off stumping up the cash for a forgeworld one :D http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Chaos/dreadnoughts/we1.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194425-csm-dread-questions/#findComment-2312461 Share on other sites

Seregon
I'm using an Ironclad dreadnought with a second claw CCW bought from ebay and converted the claw "fist" onto the left CCW arm you get in the box. Lord of Worms
You can use abaddon's claw as a dreadnaught hand. That's what I did. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194425-csm-dread-questions/#findComment-2312898 Share on other sites
David the Despoiler
Sadly, no, Dreadnoughts cannot take marks ;) And the current dread model (blegh) is metal and has few real options. I say go for the Forge World one for sure. I converted mine from a loyalist dread (the AoBR one). Brother Nihm
I waited two years before finally giving in to Forgeworld (I am cheap ;)). I'll never regret that I did. Their sculpts are simply superb. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194425-csm-dread-questions/#findComment-2312912 Share on other sites

Is that the base they come with or did you make it yourself? @MattCrawford: Isn't GW (re?) releasing the Furioso pattern Dread to coincide with the Blood Angels Launch? You could try to order the arms from one of the many independent bits sites that are about.
