From "Duty and Honour": US WD 201:

Commander Troilus

Terminator Sergeant Notaras

Terminator Sergeant Gorius

Terminator Sergeant Gladius

Terminator Sergeant Adrianus (dec'd)

Terminator Sergeant Primus

Terminator Sergeant Constantius: leader of Cmdr. Troilus's bodyguard

Edited by Brother Pariah

Do I take this to mean Troilus is a Chapter Master?

EDIT:

I guess. Maybe you should stick all of the "Commanders" into one category, and explain that "Commander" was synonymous with Chapter Master in early fluff, but became a non-specific rank for the leader of a detachment in later fluff? Then let the reader decide what they want to do with it? I dunno.

Hmm.... Well, we know certain ones -were- Chapter Masters...

I dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but we have:

Aloysius, Commander of the Ultramarines Honour Guard

He held the Swarmlord at bay while the rest of the Honour Guard helped get Calgar and the rest of the men into the Thunderhawks and escape with their lives. Last seen being killed by the Swarmlord's bone-sabers as the the Thunderhawks made it to safety.

EDIT: Yeah, Seahawk got him.

From the Ultramarines movie cast page:

Carnak - (played by John Hurt)

Proteus - (played by Sean Pertwee)

Severus - (played by Terence Stamp)

Verenor - (played by Steven Waddington)

Pythol - (played by Donald Sumpter)

Nidon - (played by Johnny Harris)

Crastor - (played by Ben Bishop)

Boreas - (played by Christopher Finney)

Hypax - (played by Gary Martin)

Edited by Chaptermaster Graymantle
Carnak - (played by John Hurt)

I really hope Carnak is a Librarian. That would make my day.

Ditto. That'd be silly.

Frankly tho, I'm not sure why that name wasn't given to a Thousand Sons Librarian. The name would be a double-whammy then ;)

Maybe he IS a Thousand Son?

Have we got Brother Solarion aka Prophet, yet? He appears in the short story Headhunted, from Heroes of the Space Marines*

He was a stealth specialist trained by Torias Telion.

* Originally titled 'Heroes Of The Space Marines Or Chaos Marines Or Marines That Aren't Really All That Heroic As They Turn Renegade For Fairly Dubious Reasons' ;)

I'd rather not just guess. If at all possible I want the most info about a Marine's rank and position as possible so that I can sort him properly. I don't even know what Company he belongs to right now....

Some old skool heresy references:

Gregorius - Command level dude of unspecified rank. Former friend of Brother-Captain Costan of the World Eaters, commands forces opposing World Eaters under Costan on unspecified world. Space Marine 1st edition rulebook page 15

I always assumed that this was on Calth, personally. There's really no-where else it could be, I think.

Brother Veridian - Rogue Trader, p. 168.

He appears to be a basic tactical marine, but I'm not really sure, and I don't know if he's from a specific company or not either. He does have a laurel of some kind, although I'm not sure whether this meant anything at the time. I don't know RT markings all that well. Maybe someone who knows that stuff a little better could check it?

He's just a bog-standard trooper, armed with a boltgun. They hadn't come up with company markings yet when they wrote Rogue Trader.

I agree it is quite certainly Calth (or what would become Calth) ~ but for clarities sake I thought I'd list it as it was in the book.

It's just 'Brother Solarion', as I noted, rather than brother Solarion (my emphasis here). There is no other indication of rank, company etc. It's worth me pointing out that he's on secondment to the Deathwatch, so that'll keep him out of the formal rank structure anyway.
