kornomaniac
Hello ! Got a small question here . ;) I really fail to see the use of the Acolyte wound allocating. In shooting you can allocate the wounds between the inquisitor and his unit as you see fit. So the special rule of the acolytes is of no use here. IN close combat it's thesame deal. Since the henchman count as a retinue the inquisitor cannot be singled out in close combat. Again you can allocate close combat wounds as you see fit. How can we use the acolytes special rule then? Has it become obsolete in the current edition? Or.... as an example. If we get 2 wounds. can i allocate them to the inquisitor and the acolyte. and AFTER that, transfer the inquisitors wound to the acolyte, thus letting the acolyte save 2 wounds? Thank you for any claraification ! :wallbash: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194596-question-on-acolyte-wound-allocation/ Share on other sites
Gibious
That is very viable, here is another: Inq Lord, Acolyte and 3 others left in the squad. 6 Powerfist/Claw/Etc wounds are laid down. Inq only has a 3+ so he pretty much dead right? No. Put a wound on each with the remainder on the acolyte, then transfer the Inq to the acolyte as well. Inq Lord comes out unscaved and able to utilise Iron Will to his need.
