Archnomad
Ok, in my upcoming IW army i'm going to be using Sternguard as PA makeshift oblits. Just oblits that haven't swelled in power as compared to the obliterators we're used to. It's easier to just show you; *pics inc as soon as the GS dries.... his arm just fell off.....* http://hdimage.org/images/7henyvl4cprzaldcee7_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/mupsclkbzxpn7sqn9we_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/k2eh0wfxmqjkzur63b4g_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/wqvulq01c8pbaswxh06b_thumb.jpg Well, anyway, the eventual goal is nine of these, just waiting for the GS to dry. His arm keeps drooping. >.> Ok, pics up. Dodgy quick quality is my comeuppance! The GS areas that look "flat" are actually scored in little scars going everywhere, but that doesn't convey too well here. You can kind of vaguely make it out in some shots. I need to do something with his back, any suggestions? He has no powerpack atm. ~{Archy}~ With any luck I will have a better camera by this evening. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194610-archnomads-wip-pa-obliterators/ Share on other sites
Token
Yeah, kinda hard to see much on those pictures. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194610-archnomads-wip-pa-obliterators/#findComment-2315139 Share on other sites
FlamingDeth
Even without a better camera you might have better pictures if you take the book out of the shot, since it's auto-focussing on the faces on that. Looks good from what I can see, though it might be more effective to replace the bolter in the arm with something an oblit can actually use. Obviously some sort of bigger, mutated power pack would be in order, something to make him look like he's got a hunchback perhaps? Archnomad
Yep, followed the above advice with the dvd (not a book :P) and got the good camera, here's the three i've got done now (need another 3 by tomorrow, so expect updates tonight. So, in order; Barret http://hdimage.org/images/3awurkw99b0iloe2lfxl_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/xtth265lsnblv290z4c_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/f9ll85ppo24mrpkfwy_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/isol7t7u8jdc3v6wiete_thumb.jpg Baraka http://hdimage.org/images/znn3t8fybf8tc2fj8eyd_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/dy0c6c0xkb2cxgfxbc2d_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/rhlt7a1qg3tb5dwt5k_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/xy7q61au51sr4lu92jx1_thumb.jpg Killsaw Gutf*** http://hdimage.org/images/v6kqmpvst1wgonbpzw8o_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/lst08rxxbq98ktrc2yx_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/z9llaf7xcnvijy5ry5_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/2sg196l2v2h54iihq4dg_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/41bi9e1ipaac0j9opui_thumb.jpg Yeah, they're WiP, waiting on the GS to dry before I add more detail. But what you see there is the "skeleton" of the model ;) Hmmm, I think Baraka needs something on his legs. They look too plain. Anyone agree? ~{Archy}~ More photos inc.... And here I present, Preston! (cookies for anyone who gets the reference... it's pretty cryptic. It's based on his pose :D) http://hdimage.org/images/khhquzaz60td6h8w2ug9_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/ltejakh2y8vpvy8z1ola_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/qnqseagqflwl788pt86q_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/fj0de36joxgp596lgmea_thumb.jpg http://hdimage.org/images/7h3lnavfoqb9i5dilj_thumb.jpg I promise better photogrophy once he dries, and I can take photos without blocking my own light :) ~{Archy}~ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194610-archnomads-wip-pa-obliterators/#findComment-2315878 Share on other sites
