Grey... er... Green Knights

Recommended Posts

Just getting started at putting together a couple of small Grey Knight Terminator squads. I think I can swing a total of five squads of five. I was considering washing them out in different colors, and have been throwing together test models for the look.

I started with the deep red,

And then went to a more classic silver.

Right now, though, I think that the Green Knight is the way to go:

I've got one done up in blue as well, but I'm going to try to put together a few of these greens and see how that flies, first.

Erm... the NFW is a little... er... different when it comes to an exact recipe. It's a purple sharpie marker over aluminum silver spray, drybrushed off to highlight, and hit with a little bit of Asurman Blue and topped with a light layer of Liquitex Interference Violet for a sheen effect. The gold is a FW Mazuma Gold acrylic ink washed with Gryph Sepia.

I kinda have weird paints. <_<

You could do a squad based on the power rangers... you already have red and green :D

But seriously the green one looks nice... have tried doing one a slightly darker green? I don't know how that would look, but that might look good as well. But anyway your models do what you enjoy :D

They look good could you give the recipe for the red please

The Dark Angel

If I remember correctly (I did it a good while back), I started from a bare, unprimed metal model and did a crevice wash of badab black, three washes of baal red, and then slathered it with red ink.

Finished up two more of these guys today:
