Question on Callidus Neuro Schredder

Hello ! :lol:

 

Yet another question popped up today during my games with my new Inquisition Army ^^

 

The question is concerning the neuro schredder of the callidus assasin. It works like a flamer of strenght 8 but instead of using the targets Tougness you use it's leadership...

 

but... if you fire this at a unit... do you take the majority of the squad's leadership? or do you take the leadership of the sergeant?

 

Or do you roll other dice for the normal troopers ( with lower Ld) and roll seperate die for the sargeant ( who has a higher LD) ?

Well i assume you just replace Toughness with LD, so, against that weapon, they all count as say 9 T8 marines and one T9 marine, yeah? With me so far?

 

Then majority toughness kicks in so you wound them all on 4s <_<

My opponent yesterday said to test on 5+ because ' all' of the squad uses the sergeants Ld.

Really it as though i resolved 1 hit against each different model. So i roll the Sergeant of marine squad seperately.

Sarges Ld is only used for Moral tests.

 

The Leadership Stat just replaces the Toughness stat for the Nerual Shredder attack, everything else works by the book. So Majoirty Ld.

 

And no, if Sicarus is on the table, they don't all have a Ld10 either (something that was pulled on me once....).
