My first Cybot..

It's my first cybot and my 4th space marine unit. Critique is welcome.

very good first dreadnaught (cybot) french isn't it? Edit: German, i have been corrected ;)

 

i cant see the marines but the dreadnaught is good

 

 

i advise a wash on the skull to fill in the shadowed part, for that i would just use watered down chaos black.

Dreadnaughts aren't the easiest things to paint when you're new to painting Marines, so I'd say well done.

 

A couple of helpful pointers:

- You might find that with the grass stuck around the edge of the base, it will rub off pretty easily if you're moving it around a lot. It's generally so much easier to just paint around the edge.

- Take a small drill bit and just drill out the barrels of the gun, somehow it just makes the model feel that little bit more finished.

Cybot is Dreadnought in german ! In french we call it a... well, Dreadnought.

 

About it, is it your 4th ever painted model ? If so, it's a very good start i'd say.

For oyur first dreadnought that is a good effort. As SB suggested, a small wash on the skull would really bring it out well (try badab black or devlan mud) or use thinned down chaos black and it'll look a lot better. :)
