I run into some problems with my camera so I couldn't keep up to date with the pics.

Problem seems to be fixed now so here's the first photos of the 10 man crusader squad

This is it so far.

Now that the camera is working I'll take a couple more shots of the squad and post them tomorow or so.

By the way, these are the AoBR marines, I chose to keep them as they were because of my crusade fluff. (Black Templars working with Crimson Fists)

They seem too dark to me. I think you need to add some more white in there somewhere. Also, I would add a grey highlight to some of the raised parts of the armour. You'de be amazed at how much that makes them stick out.

I would have to agree with bt_master. White on Black Templars seems right and characterful IMO. Having said that, your work is very neat and well done. I will definitely be following up this thread.

Well, the squads I was working on are done and I moved on to a third squad.

Sorry for the lack of updates but a couple of ideas just crossed my mind after reading Rynn's world, Sons of Dorn and some historical templar documents (among other things)

I'll try to keep both threads updated so all can access without having to go to the BT section.

 

Once I get a break from college work I'll post some more pics (and paint some more)
