Brother Richard
I Brother Richard of the Black Templar Forum have completed and posted pics of my vow. Wow.. this was probably my toughest challenge yet. Although it is only a single piece I started building my house.. (should be able to complete that challenge by September). I never had so little time to paint. Ten to Fifteen minutes every few nights was barely enough time to get out the paints let alone get into the swing of it. Well here he is.. I modeled him after my Masters series (master of the fleet, watch..etc) below are my in prog pics. the entire top had to be redone when my glue spilled..yes it spilled on him.. a quick wipe with the paper towel and he looked pretty funny with the paper stuck to the top of his armor..thinking about it I should have taken a pic of that. The eyes were really tough.. i had to redo several times, and I really don't like the old metal lightening claws, but I like the old metal dudes pose so thats why I stuck with him. Here is a close up of the electrical effect on the claws. Back to work on the house. MattCrawford
Good ideas and solid color scheme. You're going to need on brush control and thinning out your paints a bit. Once you have that down, highlights, my friend! Otherwise a decent model. Nice effort ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/194891-brother-richards-lpc-vow/#findComment-2319639 Share on other sites
