Hal
I'm finally getting round to converting my AOBR terminators and first up is the sergeant. C&C welcome. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195051-viridian-knights-aobr-conversions/ Share on other sites
Fire Lord Captain
Wow!! He looks awesome. You can hardly tell he is an AOBR termie. I love the GS chain and the use of a scout head. -JK-
Unbelievably good green stuff sculpting there, immensely impressive! Personally I hate the plastic scout heads, but it seems that when you don't put them on a scout body, they work really well! I take my hat off to you, sir. Skirax
Immense, hard to believe that such crap models can be made good! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195051-viridian-knights-aobr-conversions/#findComment-2321823 Share on other sites

Hal
Sergent is almost finished. I still need to finish the sword and the usual details. I'm not sure whether to paint the chains gold or keep them silver, any thoughts? As usual c&c welcome. Edemia
Thats an amazing colour scheme - is that the vallejo colours (can't think what they're called off hand, but its a colour I was going to use for my Tau) you've used there or GW ones? Edemia EDIT:- I think the silver goes well with the colour scheme, but the gold goes well too. You could always do them both colours (i.e paint one chain gold, the other silver) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195051-viridian-knights-aobr-conversions/#findComment-2350526 Share on other sites
Hal
Not content with the GW colours avaliable I decided on the colour first, then mixed a load of GW colours until it looked right. The final formula is a mix of hawk turquoise with snot and dark angel greens.
