Skrubb
What I have done lately: 1: Black GW primer spray 2: Codex grey (one layer generally, two on larger surfaces where a smooth finish is more important) 3: light highlights with fortress grey I leave the black in most of the recesses. I think that is a good way of doing things with power armour. It adds depht without many layers. This gives what I think, at my standards, is a great tabletop appearence. That said, I am not sure how much work I save this way. I have to paint carefully to leave black between fingers and joints and plates of armour. It might have been faster to prime it in grey and give it a wash, only adding black where it is most needed.
