In a recent game, I had to kill a GK BC, so I shot him up with some hurricane bolters and he lived, so I elected to use the MM to finish him, but my opponent said I had to choose a different target. It's my understanding the POTMS allows you to choose to, it is by no means mandatory. The benefit of it is that you get to shoot it like a different unit, pretty much. Thoughts? You're not allowed to shoot some stuff at a target and then follow it up to finish things off if it doesn't go well. All firing from a single unit is simultaneous - and that can potentially make a difference to wound allocation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
