The freehand isn't too bad by the way, a lot better than any of my efforts If i had to criticize, i'd say the highlights are a little thick... Leonatas Posted March 18, 2010 Author Share Posted March 18, 2010 mech red ,devian mud wash ,then red gore ,blood red ,blazing orange but i agree with sudden diference between the dark and highlights this was done purposly as practice and i will be making two pots of 1:1 and 1:2 of red gore and blood red soon to soften the transition right now i am just working models up to just the devian wash for now and thanks for your comments so far keep it coming Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In fact, i like to do my models that way so that the lines stand out on the tabletop. One thing though, the cape is missing something, the drops are nice but I think if you added some trim lines or a pattern (one of the new White Dwarves shows how to do this) and I think you could stamp DONE on this guy.
