SoulReaver296
Inquisitors will always hold a place in my heart. Sure, they may be expensive and not be "worth their points" in ways that I use them, but i still like them a lot. AND, i doubt that they would simply be expunged from the game when the new "Inquisition" codex(i) (in whatever form it/they take) come out, even if they are relegated to a supplement. So, what would you like or want from them? just balance them out point, stat, and rule wise to 5th? a complete makeover? or DO you want them to just disappear? personally, i feel that more options on the various henchmen would do wonders (like actually having eviscerator hierophants, options for rifles instead of pistol and CCW, and so on), MAYBE the option to raise one stat for a point boost (genetherapy, cybernetic enhancement, superior training and physique, whatever), and having even more new and strange weapons (they're inquisitors, they SHOULD get the newest and shiniest toys) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195232-inquisitors-and-5th/ Share on other sites
WAR
I want real priests/ confessors/ missionaries that can take a retinue similar to an Inq. that their special rules mess with the enemies ld Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195232-inquisitors-and-5th/#findComment-2324066 Share on other sites
gmurie
All of my demands and desires are model based. I want a new inquisitor and retinue plastics box on a level of pretty with the new blood angels plastics. I want those sprues to have a ton of bits and pieces for converting other models and providing me with models that just don't exist except in some pretty crappy metals. At minimum I want: A multi-part inquisitor in power armor that can be modeled for any one of the three ordos (hereticus, maellus, xenos) or as a radical. If GW gives rules for "marked" inquisitors so much the better. Servo Skulls, Interrogators, and other odd character types that aren't available elsewhere (servitors and guardsmen are available elsewhere). Adeptus Arbites! Again I want to see a box of plastics with lots of odd bits. I'd like to see the Deathwatch marines come into their own so they're on par with Grey Knights and Sisters. I'd like to see all four (xenos, hereticus, maellus, and radical) inquisitorial styles represented in the book, and I'd like to see an Eisenhorn model. Ravenor I couldn't care less about. He's a floating box, so how interesting a model are you going to get there? Gentlemanloser
I'd like the 1500 WH Army restriction removed form Karamazov. Oh and his WS acurately represented as 5. EW or T6 would be the icing on the cake. And maybe a Psychic Power or two. <3 Karamazov Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195232-inquisitors-and-5th/#findComment-2328238 Share on other sites
breng77
I think a little point fixing on retinues would help. They get expensive fast for pretty weak overall models. Brother_Kaelgrim
Actually I would love a Ravenor model, with a chair similar to the one Aerion (spelling?) the Faithful did on Deviantart. His Eisenhorn picture is quite good as well (which Abnett himself even commented on, thats high praise for an artist I imagine) I would love more types of Grey Knights such as the B&C proposed Lancers and would love to see more Radical units. kiwitexansfan
I think a little point fixing on retinues would help. They get expensive fast for pretty weak overall models. This.... a lowering of points across the board would be good. SoulReaver296
when you have the choice between an assault servitor or another GK for the SAME PRICE, which one you going to choose more often then not? (unless you REEEEEEEALY need powered hits, at the same S as knights hit but I1)) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/195232-inquisitors-and-5th/#findComment-2331344 Share on other sites
breng77
(unless you REEEEEEEALY need powered hits, at the same S as knights hit but I1)) ...with a worse WS, lower T, and worse armor save.... really though it is a tough choice. I think they put the cost in to reflect that they give +1 WS to the Inquisitor, but this only happens 1 time and you continue to pay the points for it, they either need to remove the caps on the stat bonus or just make the retinue members more expensive for the first model and then have the points drop off so that you are not paying points for the bonuses you are not getting. This is also true of retinue members with special rules most are you get x for having one, y for having 2 and nothing else for buying the third. Brother_Kaelgrim
More psyker powers. For a chapter that is made up of 100% psykers, GKs really don't have that many. Validar
an inquisitor plastic set is a must. With all the sweet options out there, there should be one package with it all (inquistior in PA, coat, termie armor with powerswords, inferno pistols and braziers of holy fire). Oh and inquisitors needs to be viable on the table too! Codex wise I'm just hoping for a few more options. Some way to make atleast a few solid armies from the codex, without being totally alike (no, a list isn't different just because it has another LR variant :P). More options, cool options, viability on the table. 'tis all.
