Brother Caliban
Excellent work, it is perfectly acceptable to use another model as long as you are clear at the beginning of the game. After all it is expensive to buy many of the same HQ choice type for the sake of playing slightly different rules. My army is quite large but only because of years of collecting, it's sometimes difficult to justify spending to say the least! The painting is solid, my only construction would be to say, really get into those details such as the inside of the shoulder and things, it will make a massive difference to the whole look. Don't be a afraid to be bold. The toned skull is very nice, lightening or creating a more solid colour could create a better contrast though. You armour highlights are good because they are subtle. The biggest mistake is people mashing on Skull White. Just a case of boldening the whole model with another very thin layer I think, remember ink is the easiest way to create a deeper black. Rob_Loken
Very nice. Chaplains rock (model-wise at the least) good freehand on the shoulder pad there too.
