A return to space pups (pic heavy)

Ok bit of personal background for you folks I started off gaming just before the swap over to 2nd edition came around, so the space pups were my serious first port of call in the 40k universe and being a sentimental sod I'm yet to throw them away or sell them on then with the release of the new plastics occured i get an itch, and the itch started to build over time

Cut to now and I've raided the local GW ;) for a box each of termies and power armoured, trawled through my bits boxes for spare bodies, legs, torsos, heavy weapons and bought some assault marines

but onto the piccies

first up is my version of alaric rock fist

have added it to my post in the =I= section as well as that's where it's going to end up lol, lugging deathwatch terminators around the tabletop

Treadhead,

Of the Ka-zillion armies I've seen you make lists for (90% of them IG) I would never have thought you to be a Space Wolves player, but I think it's a good choice. :(

I also like that you've opted to go with the Space Wolves Gray paint. That's still my preference over the darker, grayer looks. I did go back a bit on my own models and added some browns to the crevices of armor definition, but I think the traditional colour is still my fave.

You've got a great start. Keep it going... I'd really love to see you finish this army. It's a lot of fun and gives good flexibility for long term satisfaction.

@CarlSkaven: I've got around forty five (20 gh, 20 bc & 5 lf) 2nd edition metal pups to strip and repaint so the older stuff isn't being neglected ;)

it just hasn't been painted yet

@prot: cheers mon as I said these were my first army, so it's fun coming back to revisit them hopefully I'll be playtesting the list tomorrow afternoon

hmmm now where did i put those thunderwolf proxies B)

@Wolf Lord Kiera: lol that's the way his highlights were done back in the early 90's since then he's gotten a little blander

@all: any tips on making an ale bucket for hagars foot?
