380 points to play with

Hello all. I know this should be in the army list part of the fang but i got some time and need some input. Befor i go out of my mind and just start making or buying things lol. List atm is 1470. Iam going for 1850. What would be some good filler for this list? WG in TDA? whirl winds? some heavy CC? Got 380 points to play with and not sure. I got 3 razzors sitting around. and 2 more in a box which can be converted to whirlwinds? or should i go for a walking TDA squad with CML? and upgrade a wg to the same and put with one of the squads?. Also feel free to pick the list apart too ^^ TY! Little about the list. HQ to go with the walking squad for OBJ holding. the 3 drop poding hunters squads. either the h2h come down first or 1 h2h and the Pgun squad to put some hurt on them. the scouts to come back in from any were. the long fangs well there long fangs :tu: SO what do ya all thing?

Pimp out the WG with the Long Fangs, IMO. Slap on TDA, then put on some combination of the following: Assault Cannon, Cyclone Missile Launcher, Storm Shield. That'd give him impressive protection for the squad and some firepower to help out. The Cyclone Launcher is Heavy 2, so that's cool, too.

 

Then, I dunno, grab a Whirlwind, as suggested above? Alternatively, if you need more tank-busting or anti-infantry, a Land Speeder or two?

 

You could also grab another HQ, if you wanted; the list isn't exactly strapped for those slots. A Wolf Priest babysitting some Blood Claws or Skyclaws could give you a bit more punching power. A squad of Thunderwolf Cavalry could fulfill a similar role.

 

It depends what you need, honestly. Where are you having problems? What weaknesses have you had in the past? What are you concerned about for the future?

Lord Commander Andrew Was thinking along those lines as well. Just kinda of like in a fog as to what to get.

 

Stormshrug Thats the problem iam having. I just moved and havent gotten a game in with 5thed OR even teh new wolf codex :D totaly sad about that one. Wolves were my first 40k army. So Not sure were or what to go with. I was thinking of doing just that max out 10 wg. 5 in a squad in TDA which something. and 1 of the wg with TDA and a cml

 

Ravenger Yea i just looked at that and it should be 38 not 28.

 

I got 2 boxes of TDA's wolfs. 2 boxes of long fangs. 3 razer backs that are built and 2 that are in boxes. The thunder wolf cav i was looking at is nice, but iam not to keen on them. 1 is for the money/converting which i dont have atm. Skyclaws not to keen on for the ws of 3 but could be useful. but if i went that way might as well go big and go thunderwolfs. I got so many bodys and bits its not funny.
